Your Two- to Three-Year Journey
Our health-focused curriculum prepares you for roles at the frontlines of drug and animal testing in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work side-by-side with globally respected faculty working on targeting novel disease treatments. This program is STEM-designated, qualifying international students for an additional two years of OPT work in the United States.
First-Year Experience
- learn the principles of pharmaceutical sciences, drug metabolism, and the care and use of laboratory animals
- study biochemistry receptor pharmacology and neuropharmacology
- begin participation in laboratory rotations and graduate seminars
Second-Year Experience
- explore advanced statistics and anti-cancer drugs
- complete participation in graduate seminars
- focus on your research in the topic area you choose
