Message from the President
Welcome to Our Community
On behalf of the College’s administration, faculty and staff, I want to extend our warmest greetings and best wishes.
As an academic community, we are very proud of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, which began as the nation’s second school of pharmacy and has prospered into a small university devoted exclusively to the health sciences.
Enrollment is approaching 4000 students, which is an all-time high for the College and a ringing endorsement of our position as a national leader in preparing graduates for rewarding careers in the health professions.
In order to support this unprecedented growth, the College continues to expand and enhance the buildings on our campuses in Boston, Worcester, and Manchester. These new and renovated facilities feature state-of-the-art technology and laboratories that ensure the best possible educational experience for students. MCPHS is truly a learner-centered institution.
As a graduate of the College, I know the importance of developing strong professional relationships with faculty and staff, whose primary goal is to help you succeed. I hope each of you will take advantage of the many educational and co-curricular activities that are available to you at MCPHS.
This year, our graduates joined more than 17,500 fellow alumni who are enjoying productive careers in the health sciences throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. No matter where they live, our alumni share a common bond with the College as their professional home away from home— their alma mater.
After you have explored the College’s website, I hope you will contact the Admission Office with any questions and to schedule a visit to one of our campuses.
Sincerely,

Charles F. Monahan, Jr., Class of 1962
President
