Back to Top8. Why are you making us do this?
Over the past few years, computer viruses have got to the point that if your PC is not up to date and protected, it will be infected and trashed in a VERY short period of time. These updates will help your computer stay reasonably protected during your stay here. The registration process also prevents computers that are already infected from attaching to our network and infecting other student's computers.

New Student PC Buying Recommendation Guide to assist students in selecting a computer.
