Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences provides e-mail and Internet access to all active faculty, staff, and students. Usage of the MCPHS electronic communications system constitutes an agreement to abide by this policy, which is intended to supplement other applicable College policies, including the Policies and Procedures for Human Resource Management and Development and the Student Handbook. MCPHS reserves the right to revoke email and related privileges from any individual violating this policy.

File-sharing and the use of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs have become increasingly popular in academic environments. Unfortunately, the majority of instances are utilized for illegal file copying, distribution, etc. In an effort to maintain a network that is stable, secure, and virus-free, the use of P2P programs is prohibited.

The MCPHS Information Services department is consistently working to devise printing solutions that serve multiple purposes: control costs, reduce paper waste, and provide a critical service to contribute to student academic success. Over the past several years, printing costs have continued to escalate, and paper waste has been more prevalent. Without charging for printing, we have instituted limitations that should alleviate several areas of concern. We have invested in high-end laser printer/copier devices to provide a more efficient printing environment for students.
