Science-based Academics + In-Depth Clinical Experience

This 16-month program at our Worcester campus is designed for transfer students and bachelor’s degree holders. You’ll engage in clinical experiences alongside professional experts in our prestigious on-campus clinic and at community facilities. A year-round program, the Fast Track option gives you the benefit of an immersive education on an accelerated schedule. When you graduate, you’ll hold a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, increasingly the preferred degree in the field, and be eligible for national and regional dental hygiene licensure examinations. The program starts in the fall.

Your Two-Year Journey

As a dental hygienist, you have the power to influence patients’ oral and overall health. The core knowledge and clinical experience you gain by studying at New England’s top college for dental hygiene will provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in a high-demand field.

First-year experience

  • study head and neck anatomy, pathology, nutrition, and healthcare ethics
  • begin a comprehensive exploration into critical areas of dental hygiene, including dental anatomy, embryology, dental radiology, and periodontology
  • explore community oral health and engage in oral health research

Second-year experience

  • continue with the advanced study and practice of clinical dental hygiene
  • study pharmacology and its role in patient care as well as how to manage a dental practice
  • complete a capstone project in dental hygiene leadership
