BS in Dental Hygiene Online Degree Completion
The BSDH online degree completion program offers a convenient and direct route to complete a baccalaureate degree for a dental hygienist who has already earned an associate degree or certificate from an accredited dental hygiene program and has an active license. It is an ideal option for registered dental hygienists who want to continue working full time.
Students who are accepted into the program are required to visit the Boston campus at the beginning of the fall semester for orientation and are encouraged to attend graduation.
The program, which is completed over 21 months, has these features:- The entire professional major of the program is completed online and may be taken in the comfort of your own home or office on a personal computer
- Assignments are completed and turned in following course deadlines
- Online students interact with and progress with the same cohort of students throughout the program
- The online program coordinator is available through e-mail or telephone
- Online students are taught by full-time faculty
The program has the same academic requirements as the on-campus option of the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene completion program, but select non-major courses may be completed either during the completion program or any time within three years from the time the candidate first enrolls in the program.
