Who is this program for?
The program offers academic training to candidates with a previously earned baccalaureate degree (preferably in the healthcare-related field, e.g., medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dietetic science) who have completed prerequisite course requirements.
What kind of network connection and computer do I need for the program?
We highly recommend a DSL or cable internet connection. Most PCs/MACs purchased in the past 2-3 years meet the program’s requirements; if not, most of the software required can be downloaded for free.

Do I have to listen to course lectures at a specific time?
The audio PowerPoint files for lectures are posted on a course site on the Internet and students have a period of time to listen to the lecture and run the slides. You do not need to be online at a specific time to view lectures. Several times each semester students will be asked to “meet” at a specific time online – the details will be provided at the beginning of each semester.
When does the program begin?
Course work for entering students begins in early August. See Program Calendar for additional details.
How long is the program?
The program can be completed within 2 years or 5 semesters if all courses are taken consecutively.
Can I take time off between courses?
Courses are taken consecutively and are only offered within given semesters. You are able to take time off but will need to wait until your course is offered again (1 year). All didactic course work must be completed within 3 years.
