Graduate Certificate in Applied Natural Products (CANP)
Boston
Earn a Graduate Certificate
This part-time graduate-level certificate program is for individuals who are interested in developing expertise in the area of natural products. The program can be completed in as few as two semesters and is offered in a blended learning format each semester, combining intensive 5-day hands-on campus experiences with the convenience of online coursework. For details, see Program Calendar.
The CANP program offers academic training to candidates with a previously earned baccalaureate degree (preferably in the healthcare-related field, e.g., medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dietetic science) who have completed prerequisite course requirements.
Knowledge in these disciplines is helpful for students who wish to pursue careers in specialized clinics and retail settings, natural product and pharmaceutical industries, federal regulatory agencies, drug information centers, academia or other health- related fields.
Then, complete your master's degree
Students who complete the Graduate Certificate program and are interested in pursing a master's degree are eligible to transfer credits toward the Master of Applied Natural Products (MANP) at MCPHS.
