The School of Pharmacy-Boston and School of Pharmacy-Worcester deliver high quality, innovative programs, characterized by excellence in teaching. Each School fosters an environment conducive to professional development and to achieving national prominence in research and scholarship.
The Schools facilitate critical thinking, problem-solving skills and scholarship, and incorporate innovative methods of instruction using state-of-the-art technology. An active student-centered education fosters lifelong learning and continuing professional development in all areas of pharmacy practice.
The Schools of Pharmacy prepare pharmacists with the knowledge and skills needed to improve health outcomes for patients in culturally-diverse environments and to better serve the public’s overall health care needs. A special emphasis is placed on the community pharmacy environment where the majority of health care services will be provided in the future.
