Assignments to rotations are managed through the Pharmacy Education Management System (PEMS). Students enter their preferences for rotation assignment, and PEMS uses a randomization process called “the spin” to assign students to rotations, giving all students an equal opportunity to match with their preferred sites.
Rotation assignments, site preference selection, student and preceptor assessments and evaluations, as well as general announcements are collected and distributed through PEMS.
Students are responsible for logging into PEMS and keeping their profiles up to date.
