Specialty Track in Postgraduate Training
Student interest in postgraduate training programs such as residencies and fellowships has increased, and with that competition for available positions has increased as well. MCPHS University School of Pharmacy – Worcester/Manchester offers students the opportunity to apply to complete an optional curricular track in postgraduate training. Components of the Postgraduate Training Curricular Track (PTCT) include completion of elective coursework, participation in clinical pharmacy skills competitions, completion of a longitudinal advanced rotation program at a partner health system with rigorous rotations that mirror those seen in pharmacy practice residencies, and presentation of a scholarly poster at a national pharmacy conference. Students completing the PTCT will be prepared to pursue postgraduate training opportunities.
