School of Physician Assistant Studies

The School of Physician Assistant Studies provides a unique academic environment to guide and support students toward successful, sustainable careers and leadership in health care. Its programs embody teaching excellence, professional service and community outreach.

The 30-month MPAS program on the Boston campus for:

  • Applicants who have earned a baccalaureate degree and have fulfilled the prerequisite course requirements can apply to the professional phase of the MPAS program through CASPA.
  • MCPHS students majoring in premedical and health studies may apply through CASPA to the MPAS program in their third year of the BS curriculum.
  • Transfer students without a baccalaureate degree may apply to the MCPHS bachelor of science in premedical and health studies program to complete the undergraduate core curriculum and then apply through CASPA to the MPAS program during their third year of the BS program.
