Program: Physician Assistant Studies (Postbaccalaureate MPAS)

Prerequisites:

• Baccalaureate degree
• Minimum overall 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• 250-500 hours of patient care experience (recommended)
• PA Shadowing (recommended)

Statistics course substitutions: Acceptable courses include basic statistics, biostatistics, psychological statistics, economic statistics

Prerequisites (as indicated above) must have been completed at a regionally accredited college or university with a grade of C or better. Math and science courses must be completed no more than 10 years prior to the anticipated date of matriculation to MCPHS.

Application Checklist:

• Completed Application submitted through CASPA.
• Completed Supplemental Application 
• Official AP or CLEP Scores if applicable
• Official transcripts from non-U.S. secondary schools, colleges or universities must be sent to the World Education Services (WES) for a course-by-course evaluation.
• If English is your second language, you will be required to submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 90 or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score 7.  

*MCPHS University does not require GRE Scores.
