International Programs Office

As a global center for medicine, Boston has long attracted medical students and professionals from around the world.

That's why the MCPHS Office of International Programs offers support services for international students, students who wish to study abroad and faculty and staff who seek to develop international travel programs.

The International Programs Office is responsible for:

  • Providing immigration advice and assistance to international students both before and after their arrival in the U.S.
  • Creating I-20 forms and providing information regarding visa guidelines, travel signatures, employment opportunities, and social security cards.
  • Offering multiple resources for students who wish to study abroad, including a study abroad library of program brochures and catalogues that students can consult when choosing a study abroad program.
  • The development of international service programs, exchange programs, and travel courses led by MCPHS faculty and staff.
  • Advising students on a variety of pre-departure and re-entry points including course approval, course registration, credit transfer, and financial aid transfer.
