There are multiple ways you can apply to MCPHS. Admission procedures vary for each academic program, so please choose carefully from the list below. Feel free to call 800.225.5506 or e-mail us with any questions you have about the application process.

Boston Campus
First-Year Applicants
For students enrolled in or recently graduated from high school who are applying for admission into a program on the Boston campus.
Common Application
Candidates may apply to MCPHS exclusively through the Common Application. Common Application is a not-for-profit organization that serves applicants and member institutions by providing an admission application - online and in print - that students may submit to any of our nearly 300 members, including Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
MCPHS Supplemental Form – Common Application ![]()
All students who apply through the Common Application must also complete this Supplemental Form.
We strongly encourage you to consider applying online; it’s quick, easy, and secure.
However, if you prefer to print a hard copy, complete it by hand, and mail it in, you can find copies of all the Common Application forms in PDF format at the Common Application website (www.commonapp.org). Mail your completed application and supplemental form to: Admission Office, MCPHS, 179 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
Please Note:
We ask that you do not mix-and-match your applications, supplemental forms, and payment between online and paper submission. Either submit the application, supplemental form and payment (or fee waiver) online, or submit them all by mail.

PharmD Applicants (Boston Only)
For students applying for admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
First-Year Students
Common Application
First-year applicants for the PharmD
program in Boston may apply using the Common Application.
Transfer
Pharmacy Central Application Service (PharmCAS)
Second and third-year transfer
applicants for the Doctor of Pharmacy program (on the Boston campus
only) must apply through PharmCAS,
a national centralized application service.
Non-Traditional PharmD
This program is for licensed pharmacists in the United States who have received their bachelor of science in pharmacy degrees and would like to complete their PharmD on a part-time, online basis. Participating pharmacists can continue to work in their current environment. One weekend a semester on campus is necessary. Please check back for more application information!
Graduate Applicants
For students applying for admission into a master’s or PhD program on the Boston campus.

Physician Assistant Studies Applicants
For students applying for admission to the master of physician assistant studies program for the Boston campus
First Year Students
Common Application
High school seniors interested in physician assistant studies must apply to our Bachelor of Science in Premedical and Health Studies program through the Common Application.
Transfer
Students without a bachelor’s degree but who have completed 12 or more college credits and are interested in physician assistant studies must apply to our Bachelor of Science in Premedical and Health Studies program through the online transfer application or by downloading the application and mailing it to the Boston campus.

Applicants with a bachelor's degree
Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA)
Students with a bachelor's degree who wish to apply to the master of physician assistant studies program must apply through the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) by November 1.
MPAS Supplemental Application ![]()
In addition to submitting an application through CASPA, all MPAS applicants are required to complete a Supplemental Application, which should be received by MCPHS, along with a $40 application fee, by November 15.
Worcester and Manchester Campuses
Nursing Applicants
For students who have or will have completed a bachelor’s degree and the prerequisite requirements prior to entry.
Worcester and Manchester Nursing Application![]()
This application is for those applicants who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field seeking admission into the Nursing program at our Worcester or Manchester campus. Please refer to the admission requirements section for more details. To apply, simply print out the application, fill it out and mail it to either the Worcester or Manchester campus.
PharmD Applicants
For students who have or will have met the prerequisite requirements prior to fall entry.
Pharmacy Central Application Service (PharmCAS)
Applications to the Doctor of Pharmacy program for Manchester and Worcester must be completed through the Pharmacy Central Application Service (PharmCAS). Applicants may choose only one campus.
In addition to submitting an application through PharmCAS, all PharmD applicants are required to complete a Supplemental Application that should be mailed with a $40 application fee to the Office of Admission at the campus of choice.
Physician Assistant Studies Applicants
For students who have earned or will earn, by the end of the fall semester prior to January entry, a bachelor’s degree, and have or will have met the prerequisite requirements.
Central
Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA)
Applications to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program for the Manchester, N.H. campus or the Worcester, Mass. campus must be completed through CASPA. Applicants may choose only one campus and entry date.
