Ask a Student
MCPHS student ambassadors are current students who have volunteered to represent the College to prospective students and their families, guidance counselors and other campus visitors. The ambassadors participate in many activities on campus and can usually be seen giving tours of MCPHS to campus visitors. They also help out at special events such as Open Houses and Accepted Student Days.
Go ahead — Just ask!
The ambassadors offer potential students the chance to see the school from a student's point of view - and to find out what life is really like at MCPHS. Please keep in mind that the ambassadors are unable to answer questions regarding the application process or admission to MCPHS. For admission-related questions, please search the other admission pages on the MCPHS website or contact the Admission Office at admissions@mcphs.edu.

Hello there! my name is Adam Plumley. I am from Middletown, Conn., and will be graduating from MCPHS in 2009 with a BS in Health Psychology. In my free time, I am involved in the Student Government Association, Student Ambassadors, and Residence Hall Council. I also spend some free time exploring the city. I like working at Starbucks, shopping, walking around, and people watching. I am pretty much up for anything! I really enjoy attending MCPHS. Some of my favorite aspects are the small school feel and having Boston right outside your door. It is priceless! You can really tell that all the students know one another; it is like one big family.
Hey everybody! My name is Daniel MacDonald and I am from Pelham N.H. I will be graduating from MCPHS in 2012 with a PharmD. Some people say that school spirit should be my middle name. I just love getting involved on campus. I am a Resident Assistant, a Student Ambassador, and the Vice President of the Residence Hall Council. I was also an Orientation Leader over the summer. I spend a lot of time at MCPHS, but, when I do go out I really enjoy exploring the North End, where the food is delicious. When I was applying to college, there was no doubt in my mind. I knew MCPHS was the school for me. I loved that MCPHS was a small school; I thought that having such a small campus would help me to make friends more easily, and it has!
Hey there, my name is Anthony Li. My hometown is Hingham, Mass. I’ll be graduating from MCPHS in 2012 with a PharmD. I love that Boston is our campus. I enjoy going to shows, concerts, and museums. Whether it's a classical play at the Wang Center or a grunge concert at Avalon, there's always something to see or do. Boston is an exciting place to expand your cultural experiences beyond the scope of curricular activities. MCPHS has over fifty student run clubs and organizations, so it is really easy to find one that interests you! For instance, I am involved in Residence Hall Council and the Vietnamese Student Association. However, the part I love most about MCPHS and an important part of my decision to attend MCPHS is the fact that everything you need the resources, support, activities, and classes are all (quite literally) under the same roof. Professors' offices, student clubs and organizations, and academic resources are all just a few steps away from wherever you are on campus.
Hello I’m John R. O'Connor and I will be graduating this year from MCPHS with a BS in Health Psychology. During my time here at MCPHS, I have been involved in a many clubs and organizations. By far, the most fun and exciting club has to be the Campus Activities Board. I love the campus community and the number of extracurricular activities available to students here. Unlike my hometown of South China, Maine, Boston is an outstanding city which always has somewhere to shop. Newbury Street, the Prudential Center, and the Cambridgeside Galleria are just some examples. Location plays a huge role in deciding which college to attend. For instance, I fell in love with the ideal urban location of the MCPHS campus. The resources available for a health professions student living in the Longwood Medical and Academic area are countless.
Howdy! My name is Alex Fronduto and I am from Middleton Mass. I am a second-year Premedical and Health Studies major with a Chemistry minor. Activities I am involved in at MCPHS include Student Ambassadors, Student Government Association, and Campus Activities Board. I love to go around the city to the movies, Coldstone, Newbury Street, Fire and Ice, and last but not least, Fenway Park. I am very pleased with my decision to attend MCPHS. The main reason I chose MCPHS was the fact that the college is devoted to the Health Sciences. I love being here in Boston and have met so many great staff members, faculty, and students at this college.
Hey, my name is Kelly Berry. I am from Tyngsboro, Mass. I am enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program and will be graduating in 2011. During my time here at MCPHS, I have been involved in activities including: Lambda Kappa Sigma, Student Ambassadors, and Peer Mentors. I love that MCPHS is located in Boston and I am able to go out to eat, shop, and see as many Boston sporting events as possible (GO RED SOX, PATRIOTS, CELTICS AND BRUINS!) Even though Boston is an incredible city and is definitely an added bonus, it is not the reason I chose to attend MCPHS. I love the reputation MCPHS has and how the demand for its graduates has grown. I know I am going to get a top notch education while having the opportunity to get involved, and to make a difference in the MCPHS community.
Hey Everyone! My name is Ryan Costantino. I am from Troy, N.Y. I will be graduating from MCPHS in 2012 with a PharmD and a minor in Chemistry. At school, I am a Student Government Association Representative and Advertising and Sales Manager for The Dispenser, our school newspaper. Attending MCPHS has allowed me the opportunity to get involved in activities like the Outing Club and Habitat for Humanity, but has also allowed me to branch out and volunteer my time at places like the Museum of Science. In my free time, I enjoy going to movies, playing soccer, taking trips and just relaxing in between studying. The opportunities that MCPHS offers as well as living in Boston were what ultimately impacted my decision to go to MCPHS. In my opinion, the location of MCPHS in Boston is perfect. Being in Boston, especially at MCPHS, allows people to get involved in a variety of different activities. While I still have a long way to go before I graduate, I am grateful for the all the academic, leadership, an community opportunities that MCPHS has been able to offer me.
Hey there, my name is Meghan Soby and I am from Pelham, N.H. I attend MCPHS as a Premed student. I will graduate in 2010 with a bachelors degree in Premedical Studies and a Chemistry minor. On campus I am involved in Student Ambassadors, Campus Activities Board, Residence Hall Council, and Pre-Med Society. I love just walking around the parks but I’ve found a lot of good restaurants to eat at during my scenic walks. There is never a shortage of amazing food around here, no matter what part of Boston you are in. If I get tickets, I also enjoy going to events and shows such as concert tickets or tickets to see Blue Man group, which, by the way, was an amazing show, I hope to see it again soon. When looking at colleges, MCPHS was my first choice. A friend of mine came here for the pharmacy program and told me how much she loved it and suggested the premed program. It’s a small school with a curriculum focused on medical careers which is exactly what I was looking for.
