For Students and Counselors

Transfer Students

At MCPHS, we understand how important a decision to transfer to another college can be. We have admission counselors dedicated solely to working with transfer students. These counselors will help you throughout the admission process and strive to ensure that you have a seamless transition into MCPHS. If you are considering applying to MCPHS we encourage you to plan a campus visit and to contact us if you have questions about the College. We’re looking forward to working with you!

How to Apply

For transfer students, the program that you are applying to determines which application you should use to apply to MCPHS. For more information on how to apply and which application is right for you, click here.

Priority Filing Date

The priority filing date for admission to all programs except physician assistant studies is February 1. All transfer students applying for the physician assistant studies program must apply through CASPA by November 1. All transfer students applying to the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program must apply through PharmCAS by February 1. Students selected for required interviews for both the physician assistant studies and doctor of pharmacy programs will be notified by MCPHS. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

The Admission Office reviews files on a "rolling basis" and will not make a decision about a particular student until all of his or her application materials are received. The level at which a student will enter his or her desired major is determined by the file review team at the time a decision is made. For all majors other than the doctor of pharmacy and physician assistant studies programs, MCPHS welcomes and reviews applications received after February 1 until all spaces are filled.
