How many contact hours do I need to maintain my license in
the state of Massachusetts?
All pharmacists licensed in Massachusetts are required to complete a
minimum of 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours) each calendar year. Of the 15
contact hours, at least two contact hours shall be in the area of pharmacy
law and not more than ten contact hours shall be acquired through home-study
and other mediated instruction. CEUs may not be carried
over from one calendar year to another.
How many contact hours do I need to maintain my license in
the state of New Hampshire?
All pharmacists licensed in New Hampshire are required to earn a minimum
of 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours) during the 12 months immediately preceding
the license renewal date of January 1st. At least 0.5 CEU's (5 contact
hours) shall be earned in a didactic (live) setting. CEUs may not be
carried over from one calendar year to another.
How do I know if a CE program is ACPE-accredited?
All ACPE accredited programs are assigned a fourteen digit number called
a Universal Program Number (UPN). Look for this number on information
brochures regarding the program.
When can I expect to receive my certificate?
The Office of Continuing Education will send your certificate in the
mail within four to six weeks following the program.
I’ve lost my Statement of Credit. How do I receive a new one?

My employer will reimburse me for CE programs. How do I get a receipt? Send an email to Victoria.Filler@mcphs.edu. Be sure to include your full name, name and date of program(s) attended, your address, and if you registered via online, mail or fax.
How do I know if a CE program is considered a live program
(or home-study)?
Look at the fourteen digit Universal Program Number (UPN). Live programs
will have an L listed in the last 3 digits (ex: 026-000-06-116-L01).
Home-studies will have an H listed in the last 3 digits
(ex: 026-000-06-117-H01)
