Support Technology

Make your gift online now to support technology at MCPHS.

“The College has invested more than $1 million in just the past two years to upgrade the computer infrastructure needed to support students and faculty. Blade centers, networking equipment, wireless access on campuses are only a few of the recent technology achievements."
—Richard J. Lessard, vice president – Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

A key element of the College’s commitment to a vibrant future is achieving and sustaining investment in advanced technology that best serves students, faculty and administrators. The College has made significant strides in this area:

  • Created “smart classrooms” on all three campuses
  • Established interactive, online courseware platform applications
  • Facilitating interactive distance learning programs between the Worcester and Manchester campuses
  • Installed building-wide wireless Internet access
  • Opened a 72-station technology center in Boston
  • Increased subscriptions to electronic journals
  • Integrated advanced digital imaging technologies for radiologic sciences and dental hygiene students.

As technology improves and applications expand to meet new standards in both existing and emerging disciplines, technological investment at MCPHS must also keep pace. MCPHS will use incoming funds to sustain and enhance its investment in all innovative technologies that promote learner-centered education. MCPHS is committed to providing leading-edge technology that not only shapes the way students think and learn, but also prepares them for career experiences that increasingly require superior technological expertise.

The assistance will help faculty members enhance their teaching skills, promote leading edge research, contribute to the advancement of their respective disciplines and extend the service component of their fields in creative ways.
