Boston Campus Residence Life

The Office of Residence Life at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students can be themselves. We encourage students to meet new people, share their personal experiences, and get involved in their community. It is important to us that we provide a safe, clean, and affordable living and learning environment that contributes to the individual growth and development of every student.

Incoming New Student Information

In early May, all incoming new first-year students (not transfers) who have submitted a $250 housing deposit will be mailed a housing information packet. The housing contract included with the materials should be signed and returned to the Office of Residence Life mid June (the specific deadline will be posted when available).

Housing and roommate assignments, a list of what to pack/bring, and move-in information will be sent in July.

Please check this site for future updates.

Housing is only guaranteed for First Year students who meet appropriate deadlines.

The Office of Residence Life believes:
  • Each student is a valuable part of the residential and College community.
  • A community that is supportive and friendly helps students learn.
  • Student involvement enhances learning.
  • Personal circumstances affect learning.
  • Students are responsible for their own decisions and actions.
  • Out-of-class activities affect academic performance.
  • Respect and tolerance is expected.
To achieve our mission the Office of Residence Life will:
  • Challenge residents to accept responsibility for themselves as individuals, as well as members of the community.
We will educate our students on political matters, tolerance for diversity, and what it means to be a member of our community. Through programs in the hall, bringing faculty into our halls on an informal basis to talk to students, and taking the students out to our extended campus (Boston) we will try to broaden their perceptions and way of thinking.
  • Provide well-trained staff to assist residents in their everyday needs.
We will hire qualified student and professional staff to live and work with the students. Extensive training is done to keep all staff updated and ready to handle all the needs of each and every student.
  • Provide good housekeeping services and maintain a working relationship with Buildings and Grounds and Security.
We will work diligently with these services to keep our living areas clean and presentable. All of these departments work very hard to make the students as comfortable as possible. The students can feel good about returning to the halls after a long hard day at class and know that their common areas are clean, work orders have been addressed and students feel secure in their home.
