Services Provided

Harvard Vanguard staff provide primary medical care services to students enrolled at both MCPHS and Wentworth on the WIT site. Students may use these services for diagnosis and treatment of both short and long term illnesses, MCPHS immunization requirements, and preventive care.

Directions from MCPHS:

  • Go down Palace Road towards the Fenway.
  • Take a right on Tetlow Street.
  • Cross Huntington Avenue and enter the WIT campus by the Leopard statue.
  • Follow the sidewalk past the C-store.
  • When you see the Quad on the left, turn left before the tennis courts.
  • Follow the path to Watson Hall.

Services Provided

Primary care medical services at this site include basic physical exams, management of acute and chronic illness (e.g. asthma), care of sports-related injuries, academic and sports clearance, flu shots, immunizations, diagnosis and treatment of STDs as well as gynecologic services.

Specialty and diagnostic services for which the student or his/her insurance company will be billed include specialty medical services, surgical services, dental services, visual services and eyeglasses, mental health services (medical), medical and surgical equipment and diagnostic services, e.g. MRI and CT.

Directions from MCPHS:

  • Go down Palace Road towards the Fenway.
  • Go left on the Fenway (runs in front of Simmons College).
  • Take a slight right at Louis Prang St. and continue on Fenway.
  • Turn right to stay on Fenway.
  • Slight left at Park Drive.
  • Turn right at Brookline Ave (Landmark Center/Best Buy across street).
  • Harvard Vanguard is at the next traffic light at the corner of Fullerton Street.
