MBTA
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority

The MBTA is the Boston area's public transportation authority. By the way, this system is better known as the “T”. You’ll find many options for travel should you choose to use this system: buses; trains; ferries and subways. Maps and schedules are available at www.mbta.com.

Commuter Information - MBTA T-Pass Program

Interested in participating in the Semester T-Pass program? Students can save 20% by purchasing T-Passes through MCPHS! This includes UNLIMITED rides from January 1st through May 31st. Guests ride FREE on Sundays! Details are available in the Dean of Students office, Fennell 108 & at the Cardinal Booth during designated hours.

  • Can I pay with a credit card? No, unfortunately we can only accept checks or money orders. Please make payments out to MCPHS and mail to: Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Dean of Students, 179 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115
  • Which type of pass should I purchase? Please see the second page of the registration form to see what type of pass will best suit your needs. If you have specific questions about routes and locations please call the MBTA directly at 617-222-3200 or check out their website at www.mbta.com
  • Can I buy a pass for one month only? Students must purchase passes for an entire semester as this is a "package deal" from the MBTA. Monthly passes are not sold through the College but you may purchase them through the MBTA directly. See www.mbta.com for more details.
  • Can I buy a pass during the summer months? The MBTA only offers this program during the regular academic year. The program is not available during the summer. You may purchase regularly priced T-passes directly through www.mbta.com
