Peer Group Tutoring
Peer tutoring is a tool available to students interested in reinforcing the material presented in the classroom. Peer tutors are identified and recommended by the faculty and coordinated by the Director of Academic Support Services. Tutoring sessions are offered on campus as well as off campus through the online program known as Blackboard. This service is offered at no cost to the student.
While there is no guarantee that a group will be provided for all courses, every effort will be made to match students with a group or alternative resource.
Peer Tutors
Students interested in becoming a tutor can contact the Director of Academic Support Services for more information.
Individual Tutoring
Although Academic Support Services does not schedule individual or one-to-one tutoring sessions, the Director maintains a list of peer tutors and may be able to identify a student for this service. The cost of individual tutoring sessions is assumed by the student who is responsible for making the necessary time and financial arrangements with individual tutors.
