Academic Counseling

Academic Support Services assist students wishing to maximize their academic performance as well as students who may be experiencing academic difficulties.

Staff is available to meet with students to:

  • Set academic goals
  • Identify resources
  • Problem solve specific academic issues
  • Develop study skills
  • Improve test taking ability
  • Coordinate disability support services

In addition, Academic Support Services works with students involved in the College's academic standing process to:

  • Develop academic improvement plans
  • Identify resources
  • Monitor academic progress
  • Develop out-of-sequence course plans
