Required Forms and Documentation

• Passport - Apply online!
  All participants must have a valid passport that expires at least six months after our scheduled departure date. If you do not have a passport, or if your current passport expires prior to May 1, 2009, then please contact the U.S. Passport Service immediately to begin the applicaiton/renewal process, which takes up to four weeks. You may apply online or call them at 1.877.487.2778.

Suggested Travel and Health Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended. Typical insurance packages provide coverage for 1) medical emergencies, including evacuation home or to the hospital of your choice, and 2) trip cancellation. Premiums depend upon several variables, including your age, travel destination and state of residence. Our travel agent recommends the following insurance provider:

It's also a good idea to ask your own health insurance provider about coverage for a medical emergency during international travel.

Get your Absentee Ballot!

We will be away during the Presidential Election and if you wish to vote you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot.

If you live in a state other than Massachusetts, check out the absentee ballot application timeline as soon as possible. Some states require that you apply several weeks in advance.

By forwarding payment for the MCPHS Heart of China Tour, travelers accept outlined Terms and Conditions and certify they have no physical, mental or other condition of disability that would create a hazard for themself or other passengers during the tour.
