Esther M. Wilkins Forsyth Dental Hygiene Clinic

The Forsyth Dental Hygiene Clinic is named for Esther M. Wilkins, one of the Forsyth's preeminent alumnae. The clinic provides low cost, comprehensive dental care to patients in the cities and surrounding communities for our two locations: Boston and Worcester, MA. Additionally, the Forsyth Dental Hygiene Clinic allows MCPHS University students to receive state-of-the-art, hands-on clinical instruction in dental hygiene that will prepare them to become leaders in their field.

Accepted Insurance

Some major types of insurance are accepted, but insurance is not required to visit the clinic. 

Rates for Dental Prophylaxis (Cleaning)

  • Colleges of the Fenway/Worcester college students, faculty, and staff with ID - $5.00
  • Children ages 1 - 13 years - $15.00
  • Adults 14 - 64 years - $25.00
  • Senior citizens 65 years and older - $15.00

Below are directions to the clinic from common modes of transportation. 

MBTA Subway: Green Line

1. Take the Heath Street "E" train to the Longwood Medical Area stop. Cross Huntington Avenue, walk toward Longwood Avenue to MCPHS University. Then turn right onto Palace Road. The entrance to the clinic will be on your left.

2. Take the Riverside "D" train to the Longwood stop. Walk up Chapel Street and take a left onto Longwood Avenue. Walk a few blocks and then take a left onto Palace Road. The clinic's entrance will be on your left.

MBTA Subway: Orange Line

1. Take the Orange Line to Ruggles Station.

2. Take the 8 bus to Louis Pasteur/Longwood Avenue. Continue to walk down Longwood Avenue to MCPHS University. Take a left onto Palace Road.

MBTA Bus Line: 47 Bus

1. Ride the bus from Central Square toward Broadway Station to the Louis Pasteur/Longwood stop.

2. Take a left onto Longwood Avenue and walk two blocks.

MBTA Bus Line: 66 Bus

1. Ride the bus from Harvard Square toward Dudley Station and get off at Brigham Circle.

2. Walk down Huntington Avenue to Longwood Avenue and travel two blocks to 101 Palace Road.

MBTA Bus Line: 60 Bus

1. Ride the bus from Chestnut Hill toward Kenmore Station to the Brookline/Longwood Avenue stop.

2. Walk down Longwood Avenue toward The Children's Hospital. Take a left onto Palace Road.

Public Transportation

Bus Routes:

#567 (Outbound from City Hall) at Lincoln Square and Major Taylor Boulevard.

#649 (Inbound to City Hall) stopping at Main Street and George Street, across from the Worcester courthouse.

From Points East and West: Take Mass Pike (I-90) to Exit 10 (Auburn). After the tollbooth, bear left at the fork. Take I-290 East. Get off at Exit 17. At the top of the ramp, turn left at the traffic light. At the second set of lights at the bottom of the hill, make a left onto Major Taylor Boulevard. MCPHS University will be on your right.

From Route 9 West: Take Route 9 West into Worcester. When you cross the Lake Quinsigamond Bridge at Lake Avenue, go straight up the hill beyond UMass Medical School. Approximately two miles from the bridge, UMass-Memorial Hospital (Memorial Campus) will be on the right. At the third set of lights after UMass-Memorial Hospital, take a left on Major Taylor Boulevard. MCPHS University will be on your right.


When you come to our Worcester clinic there are three parking options available.

MCPHS University Visitor Lot: FREE parking located in front of the 10 Lincoln Square garage. Handicapped parking is also available.

Street Parking: Meters located on School Street and Main Street, next to the University.

Major Taylor Garage: A block and a half from the University. It offers an hourly rate.
