MCPHS Creating Futures

MCPHS Creating Futures Program

Creating Futures provides a culturally appropriate forum for Latino and other minority high school juniors and seniors to explore the many rewarding opportunities for careers in health care . Graduates of Creating Futures will be better prepared to apply for the challenging health career programs offered at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and other leading institutions of higher education.

Program Overview

Creating Futures is designed to meet the unique needs of our Latino and other minority high school students:

  • Student Mentoring
  • College Application and Financial Aid Workshops
  • Courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Bioethics
  • Medical Terminology and Introduction to the Health Professions
  • Direct Parental Involvement
  • Saturday classes
