Late August Means Move-In Days @ MCPHS
On August 31, more than 800 students moved into residence halls in Boston and Worcester to begin their education at MCPHS.
August 31 marked the move-in day for 160 students at MCPHS-Worcester. Student, faculty and staff volunteers, along with Residence Life staff, helped move Pharmacy, Nursing and Physical Therapy students into their new homes at the Borysek and Lincoln Square Living and Learning Centers on a warm, beautiful late summer day. Students and their families were welcomed warmly as they received tours of the campus and the Lincoln Square Living and Learning Center, which opened last year. Presidential Receptions held later in the day were well-received by students and their family members.
Meanwhile in Boston, 645 first-year students moved into Matricaria Hall, Fennell Hall, Evans Way and Rodgers Halls at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Peabody Hall at Wheelock College, and the Fenway Building at Howard Johnson Hotel Boston. More than 130 upper-class students, faculty, and staff assisted with the effort during a equally sunny day in Boston. The MCPHS "Move-In Crew" worked hard to give our new students and families a positive experience to kick off their school year.
Many thanks to all those who assisted with the move-in process. Their enthusiasm, hard work and dedication helped make the day a huge success.
