Two Successful Nursing CE Programs Held in Boston and Worcester

Bryan Witham, Director of Admission for Worcester/Manchester, was recently invited to present at the annual Northern California Pre-Pharmacy Symposium (NCPPS). The event was held on April 19 at UC Berkeley and was sponsored by the Pre-Pharmacy Informational Learning & Leadership Society (PILLS). More than 250 undergraduate students from Northern California planning to pursue PharmD programs after graduation attended the event. Guest speakers included admission representatives from University of Southern California, University of California San Diego, University of the Pacific, Touro University, and Western University. This was an exciting opportunity and honor for the Worcester Admission Office, as it was the first time an institution outside of California was invited to participate. In addition to the NCPPS event, Bryan conducted information sessions on the campuses of UC Davis, UC Berkeley, San Francisco State University, and Cal State Sacramento. The information sessions were very successful, with attendance ranging from 23 to more than 50 attendees.
