MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach Program Partners With Duval’s Pharmacy For East Bridgewater Wellness Fair

On Wednesday, April 4, the East Bridgewater Council on Aging held the 3rd Annual Senior Wellness and Safety Fair at the Standish Sportsman’s Club in East Bridgewater. More than 100 seniors, including many families and caretakers, came out to obtain health information, watch free demonstrations, enter various raffles and enjoy a buffet lunch.

Whitman-based Duval’s Pharmacy hosted an educational table for seniors focusing on prescription medications and home health care needs. John Duval, an MCPHS graduate and owner of Duval’s Pharmacy, invited the MCPHS Pharmacy Outreach Program program of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to participate at the education table, offering a variety of resources to seniors in their community. John Duval, Craig Duval and Stephanie Waylor represented the pharmacy and were greeted by many of their longtime customers. Duval’s Pharmacy will be opening a new location this summer to the serve the East Bridgewater community.
