Manchester Student Financial Services Suite Dedicated for Trustee Judy Ronshagen

On March 14, Trustee Judy Ronshagen BSP ’70 and her husband Gene, along with many family members, friends and MCPHS officials in attendance, celebrated the dedication of the Student Financial Services Suite at the MCPHS Manchester campus. The suite was given through a generous gift made by the Ronshagens in honor of Judy’s parents, Romeo and Eleanor Patrick.

In his remarks, President Charles F. Monahan Jr. thanked Judy for many years of service and dedication to the Manchester campus, noting that she was a key advisor during the development of the campus and also frequently represents the board at New Hampshire events. “Ninety percent of our students receive some form of financial assistance, so that area of the building sees a lot of traffic,” President Monahan said. “It is nice to know that future generations of students will see the plaque and know how loyal MCPHS alumni are to their alma mater.”

Judy has enjoyed a successful career in hospital and health systems pharmacy practice, and currently serves as Coordinator of Pharmacy Systems at Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She has been active in many professional organizations and has served as Vice President of the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy. Judy joined the Board of Trustees in 1994 and, in recognition of her long-standing commitment to MCPHS, she received the prestigious College Medal in 2007.
