Manchester SGA Holds 2nd Annual Field Day
On June 13, the Manchester Student Government Association (SGA) hosted another highly successful Field Day competition at Hillside Elementary School in Manchester. More than 85 students and faculty participated in inter-class games, which included relay races, dodge ball, pie-eating and the main event, the egg toss. The P1 Class took home first place bragging rights, and the names of the winning team members will be inscribed on a plaque in the student lounge. The event was organized by a committee of students and chaired by the SGA President-elect KC Ogbonna. Mike Williams, Director of Wellness and Recreation, assisted in officiating and facilitating the games. All participants received a t-shirt that commemorated the day and enjoyed a catered lunch following the games.
