Disease states areas of interest: sickle cell anemia, cancer chemotherapy, hypertension

Design enzyme inhibitors using molecular modeling approach

Targeted Enzymes s include Dipeptidyl peptidase (DPPIV), Fatty Acids Hydrolase (FAAH)

Develop high throughput assays to study the effects of chemicals and natural products on sickle hemoglobin polymerization and cancer cells viability
