MCPHS Ranked #1 Most Transformative College for 2018-19 by Money

  • August 17, 2018

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) has been ranked #1 Most Transformative College for 2018-19 by Money.

Money evaluated colleges and universities based on their own exclusive value-added scores for graduation rates, earnings, and student loan repayment. The publication eliminated schools with any negative scores or a graduation rate below 50%.

The editors of the ranking note that it is "not surprising that elite schools report high graduation rates or alumni success. What’s impressive is when a college helps students do far better than would be expected from their academic and economic backgrounds. We call this a college’s value add."

The list, which was released August 13, 2018, ranks MCPHS ahead of other premier colleges and universities, including Babson College, Boston University, and the University of California-Davis.

MCPHS graduates are ranked the #1 earners in New England, and the #4 earners in the nation according to the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, and the University was recently ranked the #1 University for Earning Power by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings 2018.

MCPHS students train for high-paying careers in in-demand fields, where they have the opportunity to channel their talents for sciences and critical thinking into fueling positive change around the world.
