In the News: MCPHS Embracing New Dry Eye Treatment

  • Dr. Joseph Stamm and Dr. Louis Frank, both associate professors of optometry at the MCPHS Eye & Vision Center, are experiencing early success with a new way to treat dry eye disease. A device called TrueTear, that doesn’t use drugs or eye drops, offers a wider range of options for treatment. The product is an especially good fit for those who don’t want to rely on medications or artificial tear eye drops.

The Eye & Vision Center is one of only a few eye health providers in Central Massachusetts to offer the TrueTear device.
