Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy

Ensuring that patients have access to affordable healthcare services, medications and products is vital to the health of populations worldwide. In this program, you’ll build on your PharmD or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, economics or related areas with advanced training in pharmaceutical economics and policy, and pharmacy administration.

During this master’s program, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts to advance your education in the areas of pharmaceutical economics and policy, global drug policy, pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research, and pharmacy management. You’ll graduate with the knowledge required to enhance patient access to cost-effective pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, and related health services, consequently improving the efficiency of the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare systems.  

For admission to the program, an applicant must have:

  • Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, Economics, Healthcare, Business, or related field
  • Minimum overall 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Relevant research experience, related publications, or employment preferred
