Master of Patient Safety

Patient safety and quality of care are always top of mind in healthcare, and institutions are continually integrating a variety of methods to enhance healthcare delivery, promote a culture of safety, and ensure transparency of patient safety measures. In this program, you’ll build on your previous bachelor’s degree to advance your knowledge of patient safety and your career.

This 10-course program is offered entirely online for working professionals who wish to assume leadership positions in the area of patient safety and quality, and advance their career in clinical and research practice settings. When you graduate, you’ll have firsthand knowledge necessary to participate in and initiate quality improvement programs and lead changes in support of increased safety for patients.  

For admission to the program, an applicant must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • A 2.8 GPA or higher
  • A minimum of 2 years of healthcare employment or patient care experience is preferred
