Move-In Day

It’s finally here! The day you have been waiting for (and your parents have been dreading) for 18 years—college move-in day. Moving in to your new home might feel overwhelming, but the information below should help make the transition to campus housing a seamless one.

Move-In Dates:

  • Sunday, August 25: International Student Move-In Day
  • Tuesday, August 27: Freshman (Orientation Session 4) Move-In Day
  • Thursday, August 29: Freshman and Transfer Student Move-In Day
  • Saturday, August 31: Returning Student Move-In Day

In your housing and roommate notification, which will be sent to your MCPHS email account, you will find a designated arrival time, which is grouped by building and floor. Please be sure to plan your travel to campus so you arrive within your specified time. Airport pick-up will be available to students arriving on Sunday, August 25, and Tuesday, August 27.

When you arrive to your residence hall during designated move-in hours, you will be greeted by MCPHS students, faculty, and staff who will help you quickly unload your vehicle and direct you to the Check-In area. These volunteers will also assist you with moving your belongings into your room. Please note that as soon as your vehicle is unloaded, the driver must move the vehicle from the unloading zone. Unfortunately, MCPHS is not able to provide parking for students and their families, so you will be directed to local parking garages. Additionally, please note that we cannot guarantee a move-in crew or airport pick-up for students arriving outside of official move-in hours.

Questions about the residence halls or Move-In Day should be directed to the Office of Residential Living and Learning at 617.732.2866 or residencelife@mcphs.edu.
