Fall 2018 Move-In Day

It’s finally here! The day you have been waiting for (and your parents have been dreading) for 18 years—college move-in day. Move-in day can often be a bit chaotic and an emotional whirlwind but the information below should help make the transition to campus housing a seamless one.

Move-In Day Dates:

  • Tuesday, August 28: Move-In Day for freshmen attending Orientation Session 4
  • Thursday, August 30: Move-In Day for freshmen who attended a July Orientation and transfer students
  • Saturday, September 1: Returning Student Move-In Day

In your housing and roommate notification, which was sent to your MCPHS email account, you will find a designated arrival time, which is grouped by building and floor. Please be sure to plan your travel to campus so you arrive within your specified time.

When you arrive to your residence hall, you will be greeted by MCPHS students, faculty, and staff who will help you quickly unload your vehicle and direct you where to pick up your keys. These volunteers will also assist you with moving your belongings into your room. Please note, as soon as your vehicle is unloaded, the driver must move the vehicle from the unloading zone. Unfortunately, MCPHS is not able to provide parking for students and their families so you will be directed to local parking garages.

Additional details can be found below. Questions about the residence halls or move-in day should be directed to the Office of Residential Living and Learning at 617.732.2866 or
