Convocation Day

Representing all programs within the University, new MCPHS students will gather together for the first time during MCPHS Convocation on Friday, August 30.

Convocation is a “calling together,” and it represents the start of your MCPHS journey. During Convocation, University administrators will join with student leaders to welcome you to the community and formally open the academic year. All freshman students are expected to participate in this MCPHS tradition. Undergraduate transfer students are also invited to participate.

Convocation Ceremony

Attendance at Convocation is required for freshmen students and open to undergraduate transfer students who would like to participate.

During Convocation, you will:

  • Hear tips from your SGA and ACPO representatives on how to make the most of your time at MCPHS
  • Learn about some of the exciting educational opportunities that await you
  • Officially join the MCPHS community

We look forward to meeting you.
