What’s waiting for me at Orientation?

Wondering what we have in store for you at Orientation? We have an exciting schedule planned with fun activities, informative sessions, and special surprises – all designed to make your transition to MCPHS easier.

Here’s a look at what's ahead:

Let our Orientation Leaders be your guide.

Our Orientation Leaders can’t wait to welcome you (and your family!) to campus for Orientation.

From excelling in their academic programs to serving as leaders of campus organizations, our OL’s have their fingers on the pulse of MCPHS – and that’s why they are the perfect people to guide you through the full MCPHS experience.

Upon check-in at Day 1 of Orientation, you will be assigned two Orientation Leaders, and you will have the opportunity to personally connect with these MCPHS experts throughout Orientation. Their advice is invaluable as you begin your transition to life at MCPHS!

As part of our Family Orientation Program, we assign dedicated Orientation Leaders to your families/guests, so that they have their own Orientation experience during their time on campus.

Make connections that will set you up for success.

One of the most important tools available to you as you transition to life at MCPHS is the connections you'll make. And Orientation is all about setting you up for success by helping you make these connections.

At Orientation, you will connect with your future classmates – and make friendships that will last a lifetime. You will be assigned to an orientation group with other new students. Together, you’ll tackle fun challenges, attend activities, explore the city of Boston, and learn more about life at MCPHS.

You will also get to connect with members of our faculty, who will tell you all you need to know about your academic life at MCPHS. And you will get to know staff members from the many departments that support our students every day – including the Office of Public Safety, Center for International Studies, Academic Resource Center, the Center for International Studies, and the Office of Student Affairs.

Experience an overnight in our residence halls.

Soon enough, you’ll be moving into your new home on campus. At Orientation, you’ll get your first overnight experience in our residence halls and see what residence life at MCPHS is going to be like.

From apartment-style suites to more traditional corridor-style living, get a sneak peek at your new home away from home by visiting our Residential Life page.

Enjoy late night activities

Enjoy food, games, music, and giveaways during your night activities. This is your opportunity to relax, get to know your new friends, and begin to settle into your new home.
