What families should know about Orientation

We know that you are your child’s biggest supporter. From college visits to sharing friendly reminders about deadlines, you play an important role in helping your child discover and realize their academic and professional dreams.

That is why we are proud to offer special Orientation programming designed for the parents, guardians, and families of our incoming students.

Upon check-in on Day 1 of Orientation, you and your child will be provided with two unique schedules.

The Family & Guest Orientation Program is designed to provide an in-depth look at life at MCPHS to the families of incoming students. Families and guests who attend Orientation will get to meet with representatives from a variety of academic programs.

The Family & Guest Orientation program also includes presentations on our services and facilities, as well as information about the many resources available to your child, offered through departments like the Public Safety Department, Center for International Studies, Center for Academic Success and Enrichment and the Office of Student Affairs.

Check out these quick resources about Orientation:

  • Registration for Orientation is now open. Your child can choose between four sessions, which are available on a on first-come, first-served basis.
  • Questions? We have answers! Check out our FAQ section for information about all things Orientation – including information on what your child should pack for their overnight experience.
  • Did you know that we offer discounted semester MBTA passes for our students? Registration for the Fall 2019 Semester Pass program will begin on Monday, June 10, 2019 through Thursday, August 8, 2019. In the meantime, visit to familiarize yourself with the "T" system in Boston.
