Boston Important Dates

The following list of important dates is designed for incoming freshmen, transfer, and graduate students on our Boston campus. Remember, these dates are subject to change so this list should be used as a general guide. 


Mid-January: Financial aid awards begin to go out


Early March: Housing Questionnaire and Residence Hall Contract begin to go out (Freshmen and Transfers)
March 15: Financial aid priority deadline to submit FAFSA


April 1: Immunization requirements sent


May 15: Freshman Orientation registration opens
May 15: Housing Questionnaire and residence hall contract due (Freshmen and Transfers)
May 18: Summer Orientation (All summer start programs)


Mid-June: MCPHS email and account information released
Mid-June: Fall semester bills released
Mid-June: Health insurance waiver available


Mid-July: Housing assignments sent
July 15: Immunization records due
July 15: Deadline to submit request for AP, IB, or Dual Enrollment credit and final High School transcript
July 17–18: Freshman Orientation Session 1*
July 20–21: Freshman Orientation Session 2*
July 22–23: Freshman Orientation Session 3*

*Students must attend one of the three Orientation Sessions. Orientation registration will open in mid-May. If you have a serious conflict with the dates listed please contact Admission Office soon as possible.


August 1: Fall clearance date. Students should have finalized the following items:
• Fall semester payment arrangements
• AP or transfer credit and final high school transcript submitted
• Immunization records submitted
August 28: MCPHS University at the Airport
August 28: Residence Hall move-in day (for students attending Freshman Orientation 4)
August 29: Freshman Orientation Session 4**
August 30: Residence hall move-in (for freshmen who attended a July Orientation and new transfer students)
August 30: Graduate Orientation
August 31: Transfer Orientation 
August 31: Convocation Day (mandatory for all new students) 

**Session 4 is only available to international students and students living outside of New England, New York, and New Jersey who are not able to attend Orientation in July.


September 1–2: Welcome Week activities
September 4: First day of fall classes
September 4: Physician Assistant Studies Orientation
