Get to Know Boston: College Life in the City

As a future Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) student on our Boston campus, you will have access to some truly amazing opportunities.

The city of Boston is a true college town, where thousands of students come together to share ideas, relax - and have a bit of fun.

Here are a few of our favorite parts of college life in Boston:

Special Activities for College Students

The city of Boston is made for college students. From concerts and performances to dining, the city is filled with opportunities to unwind. Some are even specifically designed for college students! Each fall, over 17,000 college students head to Fenway park for CollegeFest, a free back-to-school event filled with giveaways, food, and more. And the fun extends beyond the fall. MCPHS students enjoy free or discounted tickets to shows, concerts, Red Sox games, and more through our on-campus box office.

Colleges of the Fenway

Through our membership in the Colleges of the Fenway consortium, our students can take advantage of hundreds of opportunities to get involved. From block parties, clubs, and holiday celebrations, to intramural sports and performing arts, you will find plenty of ways to stay active, make friends, and have fun.

On-campus organizations

On our Boston campus, our students bring their passions to life by leading and participating in a variety of student organizations. In fact, there are more than 70 student-led organizations here that span a variety of interests, including professional groups, honors societies, volunteer groups, and cultural organizations.
