Orientation

At Orientation, you will officially take your place as a member of the MCPHS University community.

This mandatory experience provides essential information and introductions to faculty, enrichment tutors, and other student resources that will assist in your transition to the University and to your specific academic program. Additionally, Orientation provides you the opportunity to meet your future classmates, familiarize yourself with campus, and learn your program’s expectations.

Please note that:

  • The below listed Orientation dates apply to students matriculating in Fall 2019 only.
  • Spring 2020 Orientation will be held in early January. The date will be posted in late summer.
  • Registration forms for Spring 2020 Orientation will be available later in the year.
  • Orientation start and end times may vary, but students should plan to be on campus all day.
  • Orientation is for new students only. Please do not bring family members.
  • The dress code is professional casual. Please do not wear shorts, short skirts, jeans, t-shirts, or other casual wear.

Orientation Dates for Fall 2019 Students

Your program will determine the date and time of your Orientation. Orientation will be held on the following dates:

  • August 28: Optometry*, Physical Therapy*, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, DMS
  • August 29: Pharmacy*, Optometry*, Physical Therapy*, Acupuncture
  • August 30: Pharmacy*

*Students in the Optometry, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy programs have Orientations that span two days. Students are required to attend both days of Orientation.
