We are excited to host this annual event in person again. Join medical imaging colleagues and fellow alumni for dinner and education as we recognize the legacy of Madame Curie and observe the 200th anniversary of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
The event will offer courses on two topics: Patient Shielding and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Guided Linear Accelerator (MRI-LINAC).
Dinner and sign-in begin at 5 p.m. The lecture series starts promptly at 6 p.m..

- Explain the basics of a linear accelerator
- Explain the rationale for merging the two in the context of radiation oncology

Public transit is an easy and accessible option. Nearby MBTA stops include Longwood Medical Area (Green Line E - Heath Street, 3 minute walk) and Longwood (Green Line D - Riverside, 13 minute walk).
Parking and Entrance Details
Complimentary parking is available at MCPHS' underground Fennell Garage (Palace Road entrance) and the Boston Latin School parking lot (Second entrance Palace road). Limited parking in the Fennell garage will be available 5 - 5:30 p.m. Ample parking will be available at the Boston Latin School parking lot after 5:30 p.m. Download a map of parking options as a PDF.
Fennell Garage: Turn right onto Palace road from Longwood Avenue. Just past the Palace road entrance to MCPHS on the left, you will see the Fennel garage entrance. If the parking garage door is closed when you arrive, press the intercom button on the left to ring the security guard for access. Upon parking, take the elevator to the first floor, make a slight left, and you will be directed to White Hall on the 3rd floor.
Boston Latin Lot: Turn right on Palace road from Longwood Avenue. You will pass by the Palace road entrance to the school on your left and enter the Boston Latin parking lot at the second entrance on your left, where the gate will be open and you will see an MCPHS sign. Please park on the Palace road side of the Latin School. Once parked, you will walk back to the Palace road entrance of MCPHS.
