Meet the MCPHS COVID-19 Coordinator

Dr. Nate Horwitz-Willis DrPH, MPH, MPA, is Assistant Professor of Public Health and Coordinator of Public Health Practice at MCPHS. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran currently serving as a public health officer with the National Guard, and he has been instrumental in advising the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in its response to COVID-19.

We recently spoke with Dr. Horwitz-Willis about how he and the COVID-19 team have been working to implement the University’s testing and tracing program and make changes around our campuses for a safe Fall reopening. The team has been hard at work assisting students, faculty, and staff directly.

With our faculty of public health and epidemiology experts, MCPHS is uniquely positioned to address evolving pandemic response needs and assist the COVID-19 team in real time. We are committed to using all our resources to keep the entire MCPHS community healthy and safe.
