Bill Tobia

William L. Tobia is the founder and CEO of Clinstruct, Inc., which provides educational analysis, design, development, and delivery consulting for the life sciences industry. He serves as Adjunct Clinical Instructor with Drexel University College of Medicine. Early career training as a hospital laboratory technician led William to a lengthy career with CIBA-Geigy (Novartis). Over the course of 22 years, Mr. Tobia served increasingly important roles within the departments of microbiology research, clinical research, planning and business development, medical and public affairs, and finance. He gained an even broader perspective through subsequent industry experiences with Becton Dickinson (medical devices), Phase Forward (electronic data capture), Boston Biostatistics (Aptiv Solutions), and PAREXEL International (CRO). He recently retired after 12 years with the US Clinical Operations division within GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.
