Admission Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)—Non-Traditional (NTDP)

While there is no specific prerequisite coursework that must be completed prior to admission, all applicants to this program must:

  • Have a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from a U.S. accredited college or university or have graduated from a recognized/accredited school of pharmacy in a non-U.S. country.
  • Have licensure to practice pharmacy in the United States
  • Be employed in a patient-care setting

Application Requirements

  • Completed MCPHS Graduate Application
  • Official transcript from the college where your BS in Pharmacy was earned.
  • Official transcripts from non-U.S. secondary schools, colleges, or universities must also be sent to World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators for a course-by-course evaluation.
  • Photocopy of an active pharmacist license
  • Current resume
  • Personal Statement (500-1,000 words)
  • One professional letter of recommendation
