LiPhE Scholars Program

Leadership in Pharmacy Education (LiPhE) Institute

The LiPhE Institute Scholars Program identifies students who are pursuing the professional phase of the Doctor of Pharmacy program (PharmD) at MCPHS who are high achieving academic students, with unique experiences in the area of Pharmacy prior to applying to the PharmD program at MCPHS. Experiences can include research, publications, significant work experiences, etc. The generous award of this scholars program will offer significant financial assistance to students with a demonstrated financial need in attending MCPHS.

As a member of the LiPhE Institute Scholars program, students will be immersed in the Institute to further their involvement beyond the classroom and to take full advantage of all the opportunities the LiPhE Institute has to offer. Opportunities could include, specialized research opportunities with the ability to attend National Conferences, teaching and/or research assistant opportunities, mentorship to pre-professional Pharmacy students, assistance with events and speaker series, tutoring, work with future students and much more.

Students are identified through the admission process, but are more than welcome to self-identify by contacting our admission staff. There is a short application process, and an interview to determine qualification for the scholars program. Ongoing academic GPA and participation in scholar’s opportunities would occur to maintain edibility in the program.

If you think that you qualify for this opportunity, and would like to learn more, schedule an appointment with one of our admission staff.
