Office of Residence Life

Worcester Campus Life

Our Vision and Philosophy

Our goal is to create an atmosphere conducive to living and learning by providing quality residence hall programming in addition to our excellent facilities. We recognize that our students come to campus with a variety of life experiences and past living situations. We know that the programs on the Worcester campus do not follow a traditional academic year model. As such, we strive to be as accommodating as possible with our housing. Our residence halls do not actually close during college breaks and between semesters.

The Residence Life staff includes three professional staff members and eleven paraprofessional Resident Assistants (RAs) . Residence Life staff works with you shortly before you arrive on campus and throughout your time living on campus. We try to meet your needs and make your residence hall home. We develop and foster community through being available and presenting programs. We keep you safe by enforcing rules. We work closely with Facilities to help resolve outstanding work orders. We are here to be a listening ear and to advocate for your needs. We oversee the move-in, room change, health, and safety inspection, and move-out process. We can help you navigate personal and roommate concerns. We serve on call at night and on weekends 365 days a year and can refer you to campus resources. You'll work with us first for most concerns once you've arrived on campus.
